Limited Warranty
Applicable to All Jewellery Pieces Crafted by Adelle Louise
Every Adelle Louise piece is crafted to the highest standard of quality and workmanship. To reflect our confidence in the integrity of our creations, each piece is accompanied by a six-month limited warranty from the date of purchase.
What This Warranty Covers
The Adelle Louise six-month limited warranty covers defects in materials and craftsmanship that arise under normal wearing conditions. Specifically, the warranty provides coverage for the following:
- Structural failure of the piece, including fractures or breakage of the metal structure not caused by external impact or misuse.
- Stone loss directly attributable to a defective setting, provided the piece has not been subjected to impact damage, alteration by a third-party jeweller, or conditions outside normal wear.
- Defective clasps, closures, or mechanical findings that fail under normal operation within the warranty period.
- Significant manufacturing inconsistencies, such as visibly uneven settings, misaligned elements, or material flaws that were present at the time of creation but not immediately apparent.
What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty is limited to manufacturing defects and does not extend to the following:
- Normal wear and tear, including surface scratching of precious metals, gradual thinning of prongs, and the wearing of rhodium plating on white gold.
- Accidental damage, impact, loss, or theft.
- Damage caused by exposure to chemicals, including but not limited to chlorine, perfume, cleaning agents, and skincare products.
- Damage resulting from improper storage, failure to follow care instructions, or neglect.
- Any alteration, repair, resizing, or modification performed by a jeweller other than Adelle Louise or our authorised service partners.
- Damage caused by activities outside the scope of normal day-to-day wear, as outlined in the Wear and Tear guidance below.
Why Six Months?
Adelle Louise has selected a six-month warranty period thoughtfully and deliberately. Manufacturing defects, by their nature, tend to reveal themselves within the first months of wear. A structural flaw in a setting, a weakness in a solder joint, or an inconsistency in a clasp mechanism will typically become apparent relatively quickly once a piece is worn regularly.
Beyond this initial period, the condition of a piece becomes increasingly influenced by the individual wearer’s habits, care practices, lifestyle, and the environments in which the jewellery is worn. A six-month window provides sufficient time for any genuine manufacturing defect to surface, while clearly distinguishing between craftsmanship issues and the natural effects of use over time.
This approach allows Adelle Louise to stand behind the quality of our work with integrity, ensuring that every warranty claim is assessed fairly and transparently.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
Should you believe your piece has a manufacturing defect, please contact Adelle Louise directly. You will be asked to provide your original proof of purchase and photographs of the concern. Our team will assess your claim promptly and, where the defect is confirmed to fall within the warranty, will arrange for repair or replacement at no additional cost.
Please note: the warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser from Adelle Louise.
